Who we are

Ioetec Ltd are a cyber security company and so we take your privacy seriously. We do not sell, rent, buy or trade your details with other businesses and do not use your details for unsolicited marketing. This privacy policy sets out what information we collect, why we collect it and what we will do with it.

What we do

Ioetec Ltd are a Cyber Essentials Certification Body and IASME Governance Assessor. These assessments are performed through our online portal and therefore we have to collect some personal information. This information will only be used for the purpose of Cyber Essentials and IASME Assessments and will not be shared, except as detailed below.

Cookies

We use cookies to improve our website, particularly Google Analytics which help us ensure usability and performance. We do not share this information and are not associated with any web-based advertising or tracking agencies.

Mailing lists

Occasionally we collect information for mailing or newsletters. However, we will always make this an informed ‘out in’ and will not assume you want to receive information from us unless you say so. Most of this is done in-house, however we do occasionally use Mailchimp for our newsletters. You can opt out of receiving information from us at any time by following the link on the bottom of any Email we send you.

Customer data

If you have an account with us, and you are subscribed to any of our services, then we hold information that allows us to provide you with these services and invoice you for their use if appropriate. This information is not used for any other purpose and is not shared with any other party.

Assessment data

We require some limited personal information to be able to provide the audit service. This includes email and contact information and details of the devices you own. This information is treated as strictly confidential, can only be accessed by your assessor, and is not used for any purpose other than your audit.

Third parties

With the exception of the IASME Consortium Ltd for governance and certification, and Pervade Software Ltd who provide our assessment portal, we do not share data with any third parties (unless specifically notified to you when you sign up for a service), Ioetec do make use of some third parties for provision of services. Examples include Google. AWS and Microsoft for Cloud services. All personal data is encrypted, and these companies do not have access to this data. All information is stored in the European Economic Area or is protected under Safe Harbor Agreements.

Your rights

You are entitled to view, amend, export or delete the personal data we hold. Please Email your request to dpo@ioetec.com
